First Day Of Kindergarten: Harder on Mom or the Kid?

As you saw from my last post, my oldest daughter Sophie started the 4th grade yesterday.  Today, our youngest daughter Savannah started Kindergarten.  I understand why it is hard on the parents especially their mothers when their last child starts school for the first time.  Apparently, Savannah did also.  She told my wife Jackie  “Don’t worry mom! It is not like I am starting college.”  It is so great to see the special bond that Jackie has with both of our kids. She is a one of a kind mom.  I realize that my opinion can be a little biased.
