It is that time of the year again! The girls have one more summer behind them. They are starting another new year at Hilburn Academy(formerly Hilburn Elementary School) STEM school. This is first year of the transition from a K-5 to K-8 school with 6 graders now attending Hilburn. Sophie is now in 5th grade and Savannah is now in first grade.
The image above sums up Sophie’s thoughts on returning to school from the summer break. The school schedule is now an hour earlier this year so Sophia had to make her morning schedule accordingly as indicated below.
Savannah can not be outdone by her sister. Her schedule is below. By the way, the third one is “hair” not “hate” as it appears when you first glance at it.
We have made it through the breakfast portion of the schedule and Savannah appears to be excited to head to school.
Sophia is not so much.
I will settle for a fake smile. Or was the first expression fake?
Keeping with the Jackle tradition, I took a few shots out front of the house on the first day of school to show the growing progress of my girls. If you ask me, they are growing a bit fast, but I love them more and more every day. Especially, when they show the love they have for each other.
